It's not enough to stay just a developer.
It's not enough to remain just a developer. This is a key insight I gained from the recording event "Developer?! Builder?! 10xer?!" of the "Lo Techni Ve Lo Ba Mikre" podcast community.
The cliché exists and is true. AI won't replace you, but rather the combination of your counterpart + AI will.
The buzzwords "builder" and "10xer" generate a lot of noise. The goal of that evening was to talk to those who actually do it... and clear the fog.

What is a builder? Taking an idea all the way to product development, marketing, and sales/customer use. End-to-end. Entrepreneurial spirit and a fire in the belly also help.
Neta's nice analogy is the indi-developer from the game development field. Unlike a developer in a studio who does their part. An indie developer does it all... Idea, development, marketing, selling the game, and much more.
What is a 10xer? A developer with expertise who uses AI tools... and achieves high levels of speed, quantity, and quality in development.
Why is there suddenly an inflation of builders? AI lowers the barrier to entry.
The real bottleneck? The same one that existed until today, only now you reach it faster. Customers, marketing, sales, product-market fit, and more.
Does everyone need to be a builder? Does everyone need to be a 10xer? Can you just remain a Developer?
No, no, and no.
