סוכני AI בצוותי פיתוח, ממי שעושה את זה בפועל.
AI agents in development teams, from those actually doing it. And also when the development team and the rest of the company is "just" a 1-person team with agents.
To align: Agent = Language Model + Tools + Loop + "Traveler's Prayer" (a humorous reference to "good luck charm" or "essential component").
A series of lectures, panels, and first-rate speakers. Exceeded the already high expectations for Genesis Accelerator and Dekel Yakobovich.

Tests are not a magic solution. Many tests mean time -> and time is money. Clean your tests of duplications and lack of value.
-
Documentation. Easier for existing and new human employees in the company. A great area that developers love to hate and can be given to an agent.
-
Don't leave the terminal. Humans also have context and switching between applications is expensive. As much as possible and securely, connect the terminal to the relevant applications. More relevant context for agents and reduced friction for humans.
-
Security scanning. This is important. Don't commit .env, etc.
-
Don't hold agents' hands. During development, don't stop galloping horses. Do perform detailed preliminary research and planning beforehand. PRDs, Spec Driven Development.
-
Environment-driven development. Garbage in, garbage out. Agents don't know what quality is, but they know how to identify patterns. Based on the quality of existing code -> the quality of the code that will be added. It's worth ensuring quality and enjoying the "exponential" nature of code writing by agents when the foundation is good.
-
Backups. Especially when agents are running rampant in our code and despite the secure infrastructure we've built... It's good to have backups in case one of the agents decides to defect.
-
Opportunities that are cheap today, but used to be expensive. The way of thinking and development costs have changed significantly. It's worth re-examining fundamental assumptions; perhaps there are opportunities lying around that just need to be picked up.
-
Agents don't just do code. Agents can be connected to relevant tools to manage marketing campaigns, etc.
P.S. 1. I've been following Dekel Yakobovich's tremendous work for several years. Dekel is one of my first inspirations for creating content on LinkedIn. I finally got to meet him face-to-face, shake his hand, and thank him.
P.S. 2. Dekel's panel with Neta Dror and Hila Shmuel updated my assumptions about what's possible on one hand, and on the other, validated that I'm on the right track. Much appreciation and thanks to these two Builders.
P.S. 3. Shahar Polak was great as usual. I can't learn enough from this man, in a good way 😉. Every time I'm surprised by the quality of his lectures and the Value Per Minute he provides.
Thank you and much appreciation to all the speakers for their time, knowledge sharing, and experience. Thanks to Genesis Accelerator for the event. Thanks to Google for Startups for hosting.
